The list is not a general trade house. Titles stay with Tyneside and the surrounding region: the river, the yards, collieries, street names, Victorian panoramas, and the photographs that survive in the library’s own collections. Authors have included Ken Smith, Frank Manders, Vanessa Histon, Alan Morgan, Anna Flowers, Max Adams and Jimmy Forsyth.
Books On Tyne, the library festival, often carries the same names. Stock is sold over the City Library counter, in other good local shops, and through the Newcastle Libraries shop page.
